The Origin of Planet Musetrix
Before Planet Musetrix existed, there was nothing.
No stars.
No planets.
No people.
No smell.
And then, somewhere in the infinite emptiness of the universe, a single braincell fired.
Nobody knows why.
Nobody knows what caused it.
Nobody knows what or who the braincell belonged to.
But for one tiny, impossible moment, the braincell had a thought.
“I wonder…”
That was enough.
The electrical impulse from that thought rippled through the emptiness & accidentally crackled its way through, creating matter. Matter became dust. Dust became clouds. Clouds collapsed into oceans, land, atmosphere, and eventually—
Planet Musetrix.
The universe had not intended to create a planet from a simple ripple.
It had accidentally created an idea that became a planet.
The First Thought
Musetrix historians call that original neurological impulse The First Thought.
The First Thought is considered the oldest known event in Musetrixian history, predating civilization by billions of years.
There is only one problem:
Nobody knows what the thought was.
“I wonder…” is merely the fragment that survived.
The rest is lost.
This uncertainty became the foundation of Musetrixian philosophy. Some believe the missing thought was:
“I can make a world.”
Others believe it was:
“What if?”
And the more chaotic historians insist it was something incredibly stupid, which is why the planet turned out the way it did.
Why Musetrix Is Weird
Because the planet was created by thought rather than intention, the laws of reality on Musetrix are unusually flexible.
Logic exists.
But it isn't always in charge.
Emotion can influence physical reality. Imagination can sometimes become tangible. Contradictions can coexist without immediately destroying the universe. Things occasionally exist simply because enough people believe they should.
This is why Musetrix has always been described as:
“A world where reality has a creative license.” or "the world born of a braincell"
And Fictio was eventually built directly over one of the strongest concentrations of First Thought energy.
Which explains why Fictio became the historical city of weird and whimsical things.
The Braincell
The Braincell itself eventually became a sacred symbol.
Musetrixian mythology depicts it as a tiny glowing cell floating above the planet, perpetually thinking.
Not a god.
Not exactly.
More like the original accident that everyone is still living inside.
And according to one extremely controversial historical theory…
The Braincell never stopped thinking.
Every strange invention, inexplicable phenomenon, new species, bizarre cultural trend, and impossible coincidence on Musetrix could simply be another thought.
Which means Planet Musetrix isn't a finished creation.
It's still being imagined.
And nobody knows what the Braincell is going to think of next.
